Northeast Equipment Resource The Northeast Biomanufacturing Center and Collaborative (NBC2) Equipment Resource mission is to aid in the transfer of working equipment and supplies to high schools and community colleges in the Northeast Region to support the teaching of biotechnology and biomanufacturing. The Northeast Biomanufacturing Center and Collaborative will verify that the equipment is functional. Once determined functional it will be listed as available on the NBC2 web site at this page showing the donors and the recipients of relocated equipment. Small scale equipment such as balances, pH meters, pipette aids, centrifuges and gel boxes are examples of equipment that seem insignificant to industry but can be out of budget for schools when looking to have multiple sets of such equipment. Consumable supplies such as Petri dishes, glassware, graduated cylinders, test tubes, microscope slides, and disposable pipettes and tips are just a few examples of supplies that will be packaged for participating programs.
